Bath Row was not a desirable place to live. Where there are car parks today there were slum courts.Between Bath Row and the town there were Castle Buildings, Cooch’s Court and Brookes Court.
There were some slaughterhouses and commercial properties, a few other cottages and houses and King’s Mill.
