8th December 2015 Henry was born in Stamford in 1895. In 1911 he was 16 and was employed as an engine fitter at an agricultural engine works. He was living at 63 St Leonard’s Street with his parents Tom William and Kate Lavinia (nee Stace) Musson and his sister Hilda (4). His father, who was a house painter’s labourer, was born in Stamford. His mother was born in Epping, Essex. They were married in 1894 in St Leonard’s Church, Shoreditch, London, when his father was a cellarman. In 1901 the family were already living at 63 St Leonard’s Street, when his father had been a hairdresser. No information about Henry’s involvement in World War I has been located.
